Vecoplan targets Ecomondo

Vecoplan has pinpointed the Ecomondo international trade fair in Rimini, Italy, in November to show off its VIZ 1300 S, a high-capacity single-shaft shredder.

The company says the machine offers high throughput and low operating costs. It is equipped for the first time with automatically adjustable counter-knives. Users can adapt the shredder to different input and output requirements by selecting the right rotors, cutters and screen.

Chemical focus

Another area of focus for the Vecoplan team is material processing for the growing interest in chemical recycling. Resources can be recovered from mixed, contaminated plastic waste that is too complex to be processed by mechanical recycling. Vecoplan relies on an efficient dry cleaning process.

As well as operating an independent sales office, the Vecoplan team has considerably expanded its service division. Their Vecoplan Smart Centre, which focuses on digitalisation, is augmented by local support. It has a workforce of 580 at sites in Germany, the USA, the UK, Spain, Poland, Italy and France.

Italian parts

Vecoplan has also expanded the spare parts supply for its Italian customer base, providing the Italian market with direct support.

As well as meeting representatives, visitors will have a chance to experience ‘live’ operation of the machines on interactive touch screens. The event runs from 5-8 November.
