High-level management changes at DJJ

United States – Craig A. Feldman has become President of US scrap processor and trader David J. Joseph Company (DJJ) with direct responsibility for all businesses and activities across the Joseph Family of Companies. Mark D. Schaefer succeeds Mr Feldman as Executive Vice President of the Recycling Group.

Mr Feldman joined DJJ in 1986 and has served in a variety of roles including District Manager in the ferrous trading business, President of Western Metals Recycling and Operations Staff Member for SHV, which was DJJ’€™s Netherlands-based parent company until 2008. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue as Vice President & General Manager of steelmaker Nucor, of which DJJ is a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Mr Schaefer joined DJJ in 1985 and his roles have included District Manager in the ferrous trading business, Vice President of Logistic Services and President of U-Pull-&-Pay, which is DJJ’€™s self-serve auto parts business. On top of his new DJJ responsibilities, Mr Schaefer becomes a Nucor General Manager.

Keith B. Grass will continue as CEO of DJJ as part of his responsibilities as Executive Vice President of Nucor. He states: ‘€˜These promotions are part of a planned management transition.’€™
