’Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas’ acquired two Zaragoza-based companies, Gonzalo Mateo and Cristales Molidos, which both will be incorporated into Ãmbito. The Gonzalo Mateo group processes 100 000 tonnes of consumer and industrial glass waste per year at its three plants in Aragón and Valencia’€™.
Ãmbito is the company grouping specialised in managing industrial waste, both non-hazardous and hazardous, as well as industrial cleaning and soil decontamination. Ãmbito is the largest industrial waste manager in Spain, operating 48 plants. Ãmbito is also active in paper recycling since the acquisition of Marepa in 2006.
