Former US defense secretary to speak at ISRI convention

Canada – Former US secretary of defense Robert Gates will be one of the keynote speakers lining up at the latest annual gathering of the US Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), which will take place on April 21-25 in Vancouver, Canada.

Gates was in the post from 2006 to 2011 and is the only secretary of defense in US history to serve under two presidents from different parties, Bush and Obama.

Another keynote speech in Vancouver will be delivered by Stan Slap, president of the international consulting company Slap as well as a New York Times best-selling author. His presentation will focus on revolutionising performance for the world’s smartest companies. ISRI 2015 aims to provide scrap recyclers from around the world with educational and networking opportunities, product showcases and industry news.
