Fixturlaser XA is ’Product of the Year’

The Fixturlaser XA, produced by Fixturlaser AB of Mölndal in Sweden, has been named ’Product of the Year’ in the maintenance products category of the annual awards handed out by US magazine ‘€˜Plant Engineering’€™. The company also won ‘€˜Product of the Year’€™ accolades in 1992 and 1998.
Fixturlaser XA is used to express the alignment of machinery. The company behind it has developed a new user interface in which Flash-animated colour imagery assists users throughout alignment. In combination with the integration of CCD technology, this shortens some of the most time-consuming steps in the alignment process, it is claimed.
