Europe – EuRIC, the umbrella organisation for recycling industries in Europe, has launched a subgroup to promote the interests of glass recyclers across the continent.
Anarevi, the Spanish glass recycling association, BVSE Glas of Germany and France’s FEDEREC Verre are the founding members of this new group. EuRIC’s president Dominique Maguin comments: ‘It is a great pleasure to see that, a year after its start, EuRIC adds a new resource stream under its umbrella.’
The new group will be focusing on glass recycling in the framework of the new EU Circular Economy package and other EU-wide policy issues of interest for glass recycling. Meanwhile, EuRIC has also welcomed the Dutch Waste Management Association as a new member.
