E-scrap recycler ROUND2 continues takeover blitz

The acquisition complements ROUND2’s strategy of delivering a closed-loop recycling solution for processing electronic waste. Effective immediately, PolymerCycle will operate as a wholly-owned company from ROUND2’s 183 000-square-foot electronics recycling facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Recently, Round2 merged with Monitex – another e-scrap recycler from Texas – to form a company now called Round2Monitex.
ROUND2’s Chief Executive Officer Ian Bagnall says: ’Historically, the plastic by-products from electronics recycling have created unanswered questions for electronic recyclers. ROUND2 is now able to remove one more barrier to delivering an economical recycling solution to Fortune 1000 companies that is environmentally responsible.’
Plastics recycler PolymerCycle was founded to provide a highly-usable reprocessed plastic product derived from computer monitors, printers and consumer electronics. The company identifies, sorts and granulates plastics for reuse in the manufacturing of new products
