These compact, rugged near-infrared (NIR) units are designed as versatile OEM spectrometers for high throughputs in quality control, including incoming/outgoing inspection, routine inspection and process control in such areas as recycling.
The SGS2500 features a broad spectral range from 1300 to 2500 newtonmetres that scans over 3000 samples at 10 metres per second at a spectral resolution of 13 newtonmetres using a two-stage InGaAs detector.
Both the SGS2500 and the SGS1900 boast SMA fibre connectors although direct coupling is also possible owing to excellent stray light suppression. The units are considered to be particularly suited to mobile applications owing to their compact size, ruggedness and low power consumption.
The standard data interface uses USB; Ethernet or RS232 can be provided on request. Software includes SpectraCon for Windows, a myInstruments driver and a document DLL for direct coupling to any software.
