Germany – Following on from Brussels, Budapest and Basel, the next International Automobile Recycling Congress (IARC) will be set against the backdrop of Germany’s capital Berlin from March 25 to 27 next year.
The 15th edition of this popular conference will once again bring together the various links in the ELV recycling chain from around the world, including: car manufacturers; metal and plastic scrap traders; recyclers; and policy-makers. Organisers at ICM are now launching a call for papers and are inviting prospective speakers to submit their proposals before September 30 this year.
The aim is to cover key issues such as: latest end-of-life vehicle (ELV) rules and regulations; e-mobility; illegal treatment and exports; emerging recycling technologies; next-generation equipment; and material price developments.
The event programme will also include tool box and company spotlight talks plus plant tours to recycling leaders as well as test drives of Volkswagen′s new e-car model.
