Ukraine-based agriculture company KSG Agro is building a recycling plant for construction and demolition waste. The facility will help recover wreckage from missile attacks in the Kherson region.
KSG Agro is investing EUR 7.3 million in the new recycling plant, which is scheduled to open at the end of 2026.
It will sort and process bricks, concrete and metals to produce new building materials. The recovered concrete will serve Ukraine’s concrete mills to help reconstruct infrastructure destroyed during the conflict since the Russian invasion.
Destruction
‘Such a plant is very much needed in the region to free the Kherson lands from the debris caused by the destruction from enemy air attacks,’ says Sergiy Kasianov, chairman of the board of directors at KSG Agro. The company is negotiating with international investors to back the project.
