The Italian Exhibition Group says this year’s Ecomondo trade show in Rimini will be bigger than ever. The event, taking place from 4-7 November, will occupy no less than 30 halls.

The 28th edition of Ecomondo will cover 166 000 square meters of exhibition space. It will welcome special delegates and exhibitors from Poland, Serbia, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and the Middle East.

New vision

Ecomondo will showcase new recycling technologies and equipment. It will particularly  demonstrate how artificial intelligence is revolutionising the waste collection and sorting sector. The expo will include special areas and tech talks focussing on electronic scrap, plastic scrap and critical raw materials.

Additionally, there will be ample opportunity to discuss solutions, technology, legislation and relevant market trends shaping the textile recycling industry.

Global melting pot

Rimini Expo Center will once again host the expo, praised for its ability to promote a dialogue between industries, institutions and the world of research.

‘Due to synergy with the Italian Trade Agency and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, delegations from all over the world are expected to attend in collaboration with 80 international sector associations,’ according to the Italian Exhibition Group. ‘This confirms the event’s role in the circular economy.’

The event organiser has recently concluded two successful international editions of the expo, namely Ecomondo Mexico and Ecomondo China.
