US environmental and industrial technology specialist Zenviro Tech has acquired Oklahoma-based Hammermills International.

Zenviro says the deal brings in-house more than 60 years of metals recycling expertise, reinforcing its commitment to delivering reliable, well-engineered systems backed by expanded resources and global support.

‘By uniting proven shredding, material handling and metal recovery technologies with Zenviro Tech’s global engineering and service infrastructure, the company strengthens its position as a trusted partner capable of delivering complete, dependable and scalable solutions,’ it says on the company website.

Longstanding partnership

Zenviro Tech specialises in air, water and waste emission control with operations in Hoffman Estates (Illinois, USA), Hyderabad (India) and Shanghai (China). Founded in 1965, Hammermills International’s product portfolio includes infeed conveyors, pre-shredders, shredders, ferrous downstream systems, patented zero-bleed air classifiers, radial stackers, trommels, screens, track shoes, wear parts and complete non-ferrous processing systems.

‘We are excited to welcome Hammermills to the Zenviro Tech family,’ says ceo Mark West. ‘Our longstanding partnership has already shown how effectively our teams work together. Bringing Hammermills fully into our organisation allows us to combine their decades of industry expertise with our global engineering and service resources to elevate quality, reliability and customer support.’

Evolution

Marlin Bills, managing member of Hammermills International, says it is a ‘natural evolution’ of their existing partnership. ‘Joining Zenviro Tech allows us to deliver the same technical excellence our customers expect while giving us the additional tools, resources, and reach to take on larger, more complex projects.’

Zenviro Tech’s focus is on unifying complementary systems, such as shredding, conveying, material handling and downstream separation, into solutions supported by robust service capabilities, expanded manufacturing resources and a global operational footprint.
