Italy’s leading green technology showcase, Ecomondo, returns to Rimini from 4 to 7 November for its 28th edition. The trade show has grown into a global hub for circular economy innovation, bringing together policy leaders, researchers and industry pioneers.
More than 200 conferences and workshops will take place, featuring insights from 800-plus experts. This year’s programme highlights cross-cutting themes such as green financing, digitalisation, climate mitigation and environmental regeneration — offering visitors an in-depth look at the transition towards sustainable business models.
Global melting pot
Ecomondo 2025 will also host 350 international buyers from 66 countries, with delegations from Egypt, Algeria, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and Canada. The event aims to strengthen partnerships across Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Mediterranean, fostering business growth through global collaboration.
Comprehensive expertise
Specialist sessions on the opening day include talks covering technological solutions pioneered by Mediterranean market leaders. Other topics include reuse, repair, safety, sorting, clean energy, eco design, and best practices in emerging economies.
The event will again feature the States General of the Green Economy, organised with Italy’s Ministry of the Environment and the Sustainable Development Foundation. A major highlight will be the Africa Green Growth Forum, dedicated to clean energy access and climate resilience under Italy’s Mattei Plan.
