Connecticut Metal Industries (CMI) of Ansonia, Connecticut, USA, has opened a new 20 000-foot non-ferrous recycling facility. CMI will be able to receive truckloads of unprocessed and unsorted non-ferrous materials and then sort/prepare them for existing importers throughout Asia.

* EuPC website upgrade
The Brussels-based plastics converters body EuPC has redesigned its website to offer clearer navigation, more relevant content and an improved user-friendly interface. The website will be regularly updated with latest developments and news from the EU plastics industry – for example, information about forthcoming events, relevant web links, and company contact information. The site is expected to be of particular interest to members of the EU’s institutions in Brussels, in particular the European Commission and European Parliament.
