UK firm to acquire US e-waste processor

United Kingdom – London-based E-Waste Systems (EWSI) has signed a letter of intent to purchase Tech Disposal, Inc (TDI), a fellow electronic waste recycler and asset recovery specialist, based in Ohio.

The move is part of an aggressive acquisition strategy as E-Waste Systems seeks to create a globally integrated business in this rapidly emerging sector.
George Pardos, Founder and CEO of TDI, said: ‘We expect to be able to grow our business at a much faster rate by being part of the EWSI team, and will be working hard with the team to take advantage of the opportunities ahead.’
Martin Nielson, Chairman and CEO of EWSI, added: ‘We believe that George’s extensive experience in this industry, superior customer base and prime location in the Midwest will be a great complement to our business, which will increase our direct access to half of the US population.’
