Sims takes over German e-scrap company

Hochheim based Technorecycle Büromaschinen Verwertung GmbH (www.technorecycle.de) was founded in 1993. Today it is one of the leading German service providers for take-back, registration, secure data destruction and the refurbishment of surplus IT equipment. This allows owners to create additional added value from their surplus electronic assets by allowing Sims to re-market the refurbished items. IT equipment which cannot be reused will be disposed off according to environmental regulations and requirements. Typical customers for this service are companies from the industrial, banking and insurance sectors.
Sims Recycling Solutions offers comprehensive Asset Management services in Europe, North America and Australasia. With the acquisition of Technorecycle GmbH, Sims strengthens its ability to service the German market and Central Europe with electronic asset management whilst further supporting the global service proposition.
