Allied-Gator unveils new multi-tool

Allied-Gator Inc. of Ohio, USA, has introduced a new multi-tool dubbed the MTR 160. Belonging to the MT product line, it weighs 20 tonnes and delivers 2100 tonnes of force with the Shear Jaw Set which boasts a 107 cm throat depth and a similar size of jaw opening.
Using Allied-Gator’s speed circuit technology, the MTR 160 offers 360 deg of continual rotation and a cycle time of six seconds close and five seconds open at 225 gpm. Patented Quick-Change Jaw sets eliminate time-consuming shaft removal and never require hub adjustments, according to the manufacturer. It is said to take an operator just 15 minutes to switch jaw sets in the field.
The MT Shear Jaw Set is used for processing heavy structural steel and scrap metal. It also features weld-on interchangeable solid and disposable shear tip options. The MT cracker/crusher jaw set processes reinforced concrete and heavy cast materials; it opens to 185 cm and has a throat depth of 128 cm.
