Richard Mertens and Roger De Wit have started up a new company known as IPTS Logistics. The pair formerly owned IPTS, an Antwerp-based provider of worldwide sea freight forwarding, consolidation, airfreight and stock-keeping services for the recycling industries.
The new business has its headquarters at the IPTS scrap yard in Melsele, Belgium. The scrap metals department and all scrap yard staff have joined the new company. The operation is run by Vera Van Doninck and Vanessa Speleers while sales are handled by Mr Mertens and Mr De Wit.
