* Mayfran
Mayfran International’s manufacturing and engineering services have expanded into China with a 37 000 square foot plant in Shanghai. Tsubakimoto Mayfran Conveyor (Shanghai) Ltd is Mayfran’€™s sixth manufacturing facility, the others being in the USA, The Netherlands, Japan, Korea and India. The new facility, located in Shanghai’€™s Jiading Industrial Zone, operates in partnership with the Japanese operation, Tsubakimoto Mayfran. Its initial focus is on manufacturing large-scale stamping scrap conveyor systems, and conveyors and separators for machine tools.
* Cronimet
Cronimet Holding, which has its headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany, has successfully concluded the acquisition of Metalloy Metall-Legierungen (MML) of Norderstedt, Germany. Taking over the entire shareholding of Joachim B. Stapelfeldt and of Chicago-based Keywell LLC, Cronimet now holds 89.47% of MML shares. The remainder are held by the company’€™s technical management staff.
Metalloy specialises in the recycling of high-performance materials such as special and super alloys, high nickel-base and cobalt-base alloys, plus titanium and titanium alloys.
Family-owned Cronimet, which has more than 50 sites worldwide, has been specialising for the past 25 years in supplying raw materials to the special steel recycling industries.
