* Palfinger
The supervisory board of Austrian truck crane manufacturer Palfinger has appointed Wolfgang Anzengruber to the post of Chairman of the Management Board. Mr Anzengruber takes up his new position on September 1 and will be responsible primarily for manufacturing processes (technology, production, assembly, development and innovation) at Palfinger.

* Schnitzer Steel Industries
U.S. Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. has promoted Jay Robinovitz, currently General Manager of Schnitzer’s Tacoma recycling yard, to the newly-created post of Vice President of Operations. In this role, he will assume lead responsibility for all Pacific Northwest, maintenance and marine terminal operations, and will also assist with company-wide operational strategies.
Schnitzer has also announced that Terry Glucoft, currently Vice President of Domestic Ferrous Trading and General Manager of Schnitzer’s Portland yard, will assume full responsibility for all of the company’€™s U.S. scrap metal trading.
