Germany/the Netherlands – Remondis subsidiary Remex Benelux GmbH has acquired Dutch recycler Heros Beheer BV and its related companies Heros Sluiskil and Heros Ecopark Terneuzen.
Employing 65 people, Heros recorded a turnover of Euro 50 million last year. In addition to handling waste, the Dutch company is also engaged in preparing scrap metal for recycling, loading and shipping, and operating a plant for biological treatment of industrial effluents.
Remex Benelux is a full subsidiary of the Remondis Group, which in turn belongs to the Remex GmbH branch in Düsseldorf, Germany.
