18th ICBR to be hosted by Croatia

Croatia – This year’s International Congress for Battery Recycling, organised by Swiss firm ICM, will take place on September 11-13 at the Hotel Dubrovnik Palace on the Croatian coast.

More than 200 industry, authority and academia representatives are expected to attend the event at which presentations will cover: worldwide battery legislation; the success of Li-ion battery technologies; emerging recycling technologies and processes; the future of LEV, EHV, PEHV and EV battery systems; recycling efficiency and experiences spanning multiple countries; safety issues; and transportation regulations. ICM will also offer a targeted training course regarding the transport of dangerous goods.

The congress programme also includes a sightseeing tour of the historic areas of Dubrovnik. An exhibition area will be integrated into the conference facility, and a cocktail reception and networking dinner will be organised to allow delegates to meet new and existing business contacts.
