Rumber Materials scoops Evergreen Award

United States – US recycled products manufacturer Rumber Materials has picked up a 2012 Evergreen Award from the country’s General Services Administration (GSA). This recognition in the sports and recreation category celebrates Rumber’s support for the federal government’s environmental initiatives through the manufacture of composite building materials from recycled lumber, as well as a variety of strong and highly durable products from 100% recycled tyre rubber and plastics. The company underlines that ‘the only by-product from the production of the materials is steam’ and that its range is impervious to fluids, mud, oil and ultraviolet rays.

‘We’re honoured to be recognised by the GSA with this award,’ says ceo Brian Adams. ‘Rumber Materials has been proud to provide durable, environmentally-friendly materials for the military, agricultural, aviation and other industries for over 20 years.’
