IFAT Saudi Arabia has made a powerful first impression, claims event organiser Messe Munich.
The inaugural edition of the Kingdom’s trade show for waste, water and environmental technologies in Riyadh has seen ‘record-breaking numbers marking the largest launch in IFAT’s global history and a clear signal of Saudi Arabia’s growing ambitions in sustainability and the circular economy’.
Global attendance
Held from 26 to 28 January 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, the event brought together more than 450 exhibitors from 35 countries and attracted some 20 000 visitors, including delegations from Germany, the UK, the US, France, Türkiye, India, Egypt and Jordan.
According the Messe Munich, the strong turnout reflects rising demand for advanced recycling, waste management and water technologies as Saudi Arabia accelerates delivery of its Vision 2030 sustainability goals.
