Danieli completes multiple recycling plant projects

Italy – Italy’s Danieli Group says its Danieli Centro Recycling division has strengthened its position as a leading supplier of complete plant and equipment for the metals industry worldwide, after completing several successful international projects and winning new contracts.

In May, Danieli Centro Recycling will complete work on its new DCR6290 shredder mill, developed specifically for the Chinese and South American markets. The mill provides ‘all the benefits of the company’s DCR range at increased cost efficiency’, Danieli states. The new model made its debut at the BIR World Recycling Convention and Exhibition in Shanghai this week.

Danieli has just commissioned a recycling plant for ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap dealer RMB in Brescia, Italy. The line features a DCR pre-shredder and DCR 1827 shredder mill, and includes environmental protection measures such as noise insulation and an innovative dust extraction system, Danieli claims.

Meanwhile in Spain, a new plant ordered by Metales de Navarra comprises a DCR 1822 shredder and downstream ferrous/non-ferrous recovery, while German aluminium recycler Novelis Nachterstedt has awarded Danieli a contract to supply three DCR 1822 aluminium shredding recycling lines, also including downstream plant.

Heavy-duty shears and other equipment are on order from Kuwait Steel, Natsteel Singapore, Belarus Belvtormert and South African company Agni Steel. And Danieli says it will remain busy in the next few months fulfilling further orders from France, Slovakia, Germany and Switzerland.
