Fimic and Nordson tease powerful partnership

Italian recycling tech company Fimic will announce a ‘groundbreaking’ partnership with Nordson BKG at the K2025 tradeshow.

Germany-based Nordson BKG, part of US-based Nordson Polymer Processing Systems, offers melt pumps, screen changers, pelletising systems, and auxiliary equipment. At the start of this year, Fimic became Nordson’s exclusive sales agent for its BKG products in Italy.

The companies are planning a special and ‘enhanced’ collaboration in the recycling tech space. Details are kept under wraps until the K Show, which will take place from 8-15 October in Düsseldorf.

Cutting-edge solutions

‘Building on our existing relationship with Nordson BKG, this strategic project marks a crucial step toward developing cutting-edge technologies that will address the growing demands of the plastics industry,’ says Erica Canaia, ceo of Fimic.

Without giving too much away, she adds it will ‘transform’ the plastics recycling industry and pave the way for more sustainable and efficient plastics recycling solutions.

Canaia points out that Italy is the second largest plastics producer in Europe after Germany.
