Germany – Next year’s IFAT trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management is adding a new feature to cover vehicle recycling. In a dedicated open-air space, the organisers are planning to stage various practical demonstrations on how to dismantle vehicles, drain the liquids from them, remove hazardous substances and crush them in line with the EU’s end-of-life vehicle regulations.
The display is being organised by a new partner of IFAT, the German steel recycling association BDSV. As part of this partnership, the BDSV will have its own booth at the show for the first time; this will be a gathering place for the sector and also a source of information on current themes in the industry.
The 2014 IFAT show takes place at the Messe München exhibition centre on May 5-9.
