Russia – Major recycling machinery manufacturer Danieli Henschel has seen a revival in its business in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Over recent months, the company has delivered equipment to several customers in the region, marketing manager Line Germany confirms to Recycling International.
‘Sales are definitely on the rise again,’ she notes. Danieli Henschel’s sales office in Moscow, opened in 2004, is experiencing ‘growing demand’, she adds. And new orders from recyclers ‘in either Russia or Ukraine’ are expected to be announced shortly.
Inchermet, said to be one of the leading scrap metal recyclers in the Tver and Moscow regions of Russia, has recently commissioned a new briquetting press, bringing its total number of Danieli Henschel machines to five. Via its network of 27 sites, Inchermet covers almost 150 000 sq km.
Meanwhile, a Danieli Henschel CIB 1000-8 L-type shear was delivered in mid-December to the Belvtorchermet recycling company in Belarus. The firm had previously bought a pre-shredder from Danieli Henschel.
