Recycling International receives scrap metals accolade

Russia – Recycling International magazine has been awarded the title of ‘best business to business communication platform’ for the global scrap metals market. Recycling International’s associate editor Martijn Reintjes received the award during the Rusmet Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals Forum held in Moscow last week.

The award was presented by Victor Kovshevny, managing director of metal markets research body Rusmet. He praised the ‘important role’ the magazine plays in covering the challenges the global scrap metals industries are facing.

Rusmet’s 10th scrap metals forum was attended by more than 300 professionals representing major recycling companies and suppliers as well as traders, financial analysts and steel mills from more than 20 countries including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Recycling International will run an in-depth report on the latest developments in Russia’s scrap metals industries in its April issue.
