Terex Fuchs expands sales force in Latin America

Latin America – If one thing became clear during the US Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) Expo and Convention in Las Vegas last week, it was that a growing number of machinery manufacturers from both Europe and the USA are eyeing new business opportunities and market growth in Latin America. One such supplier is material handler producer Terex Fuchs.

The company, which displayed a wide array of equipment on the ISRI exhibition floor, has announced a ′strategic investment′ in its material handler business, beginning in the second quarter of 2014. It will ′significantly expand′ its sales force for its existing scrap distribution network and customers.

Terex Fuchs′ material handlers haven′t reached their market potential in the Americas, according to Martin Gonzalez, who is responsible for the company′s market expansion and sales initiatives in the Americas as well as for managing strategic programmes for compact construction equipment sales and distribution in Latin America. He says: ′We are improving our customer interaction and coverage with our larger sales force while, at the same time, expanding distribution.′
