United Kingdom – Leafield Environmental, a leading UK-based manufacturer of plastic litter and recycling bins, is witnessing growth in its export business. ‘New recycling legislation in the UK and abroad is driving the demand globally,’ confirms the company’s managing director Phil Maddox.
In order to build the brand on a worldwide scale, Leafield is exploring new distribution and reseller networks in Europe, the Middle East and North America. The firm is already working with more than 40 international customers in 15 countries and orders are coming increasingly from new, overseas markets.
Leafield manufactures hard-wearing plastic products used in many areas including education, healthcare, retail, private business and the public sector. The company supplies 2500 customers and its annual revenues are around £6 million (US$ 10 million).
