Paper and plastic recycling prospects revealed in Italy

Italy – Fashionable Milan will host not one but two of this year’s leading European conferences: the Plastics Recycling Conference Europe 2014 and the Paper Recycling Conference Europe 2014 will both be staged in the Italian city on October 29-30.

The conferences will address the numerous trends, opportunities and challenges for the paper and plastics recycling industries, including changing quality, capacity, investment and export dynamics, as well as developments in recycling efficiencies.

The diverse programmes feature presentations from a number of high-profile speakers, including paper expert Ranjit Baxi of J&H Sales International and Graham Moore of Smithers Pira, both of the UK. In addition to an update on plastics recycling from e-scrap and end-of-life vehicles, China′s much-discussed ′Green Fence′ import quality control operation will be addressed by Gemini Corporation′s Surendra Borad, chairman of the BIR world recycling organisation′s plastics committee.
