Sofia event targets recycling solutions for south-east Europe

Bulgaria – ‘Save the Planet’ is the bold title given to a conference and exhibition focusing on the future of recycling and waste management in south-east Europe, due to take place on March 11-13 next year in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

The event is heralded as a response to the need to draw on global experience in seeking out sustainable waste management solutions. The exhibition will cover all aspects of waste management and recycling, including collection, transportation, treatment and equipment. For the conference, the European Network of Environmental Professionals is organising a session headed ′Towards a Circular Economy′.

Meanwhile, experts from German machinery manufacturers′ body VDMA and PlasticsEurope have confirmed their participation in the event. Organisers at Via Expo are inviting contact from potential keynote speakers.
