Canada – With around 100 days to go, the countdown has begun in earnest to the 2015 Convention and Exposition of the US Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI). And for the first time, this flagship event will be staged beyond US borders – namely in Vancouver, Canada.
′The recycling industry is a global marketplace, and the 2015 ISRI Convention and Exposition will truly reflect that by being held outside of the United States for the first time ever,′ points out Chuck Carr, vice president of member services for ISRI. ISRI 2015 is being set up to provide scrap recyclers from around the world with educational and networking opportunities, product showcases and industry news.
Keynote addresses will be made by: Robert Gates, former US Secretary of Defense; and by author and corporate strategist Stan Slap on revolutionising performance for the world′s smartest companies. Exposition halls will feature companies offering equipment, products and services specific to the recycling industry while the convention will comprise general sessions, spotlight programmes and workshops.
The ISRI Convention and Exposition will take place on April 21-25 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
