PRS: a stage for plastics recycling innovation

Belgium – Recent years have still seen more than 50% of Europe’€™s used plastics sent to landfill. The Plastics Recycling Show 2015 (PRS) is being devised as a potential catalyst for change.

To be held in the Belgian capital of Brussels on November 25-26, the event has been organised in association with Plastics Recyclers Europe. PRS will feature a pan-European exhibition and conference that will focus specifically on latest developments within the plastics recycling industry.

A wide range of topics will be discussed, including among many others: how to cope with price volatility in the virgin market; sorting and washing innovations; recycled content and product design; plastic as the poster child for waste; and getting consumers to collect more.

Key speakers will include: Peter Sundt, secretary general of the European Association of Plastics Recycling; Dominic Hogg, chairman of Eunomia; and Chris Dow, ceo of Closed Loop Recycling.

The event will bring together key players from the plastics and recycling sectors to enable them to network and capitalise on the business opportunities the industry has to offer.
