Belgium – The 24th annual conference organised by the European Tyre Recycling Association (ETRA) will take place in Brussels from 23-24 March next year.
The two-day event will focus on the expanding opportunities for use of recycled tyre materials in traditional and innovative sectors.
ETRA has issued a call for papers and expects that, once again, there will be lively discussions about relevant topics such as research & technology, legislation and many more.
ETRA comments: ‘The tyre recycling sector faces a number of challenges in the drive towards a circular economy and the conference will explore those challenges and aims to identify opportunities for the recycling industry.’ A plenary session and Pyrolysis Forum are planned for Friday 24 March.
The association stresses that the conference will bring together virtually all stakeholders in the value chain, ranging from designers and manufacturers to engineers and recycling experts.
ETRA is also glad to announce that Volvo Car Corp. has recently approved the use of 100% recycled carbon black in chassis plugs, which is based on a patented pyrolysis process by Swedish firm Enviro.
