India – The Metal Recycling Association of India (MRAI) will organise the 4th edition of the International Indian Metals Recycling Conference on 27 and 28 January in Jaipur.
The two-day event will provide a comprehensive market update regarding relevant ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling issues in India. This is a ‘big opportunity’ for individuals to introduce their business on an international stage, so says MRAI.
Hot topics to be discussed include: recycling trends in India; government policies that impact imports and exports; quality standards; global transport and shipping developments; as well as best practices in India.
The global metal recycling market size is expected to rise at a compound annual growth rate of 7.95% from 2015 to reach US US$ 406.16 by 2020, according to Ritesh Tiwari from research firm MarketAndMarkets.
The conference programme also includes several panel discussions on emerging opportunities for scrap recycling parties in India and in other countries around the globe. Prominent industry leaders will take part in these talks, such as government officials from the Indian Ministry of Steel.
MRAI expects that over a thousand delegates from all over the world – ranging from scrap traders, inspection agencies, equipment manufacturers etc. – will attend the much anticipated conference in the “pink city” of Jaipur. Previously, the conference has been held in Mumbai and Delhi.
