EuPC: Plastics converters crucial to reaching recycling targets

Europe – The European Plastics Converters Association (EuPC) has launched a survey addressing current and future use of recycled plastics materials (RPMs) in Europe’€™s plastics converting industry.

According to the organisation, the plastics converting industry is ‘essential if we want to reach the ambitious recycling targets, especially as converting companies form by far the biggest part of the European plastics industry’.

The survey is part of a larger EuPC initiative to obtain deeper insights into the challenges facing the converting industry regarding use of RPMs. Further surveys are expected next year.

The survey is open to all European companies active in the plastics converting industry and can be accessed online in eight languages. It will remain available until the end of September, with EuPC planning to publish the findings during the following month.
