Germany – The Reclay Group, an international service provider in the field of recycling and recyclables management, is extending its activities into Eastern Europe. The Germany-based corporation has taken over Slovenia’s Trans Impeks plastics recycling operation and renamed it Reclay Materials.
‘The takeover means that we will be able to continue our expansion into Eastern Europe and our successful development of the plastics recycling sector in this region,’ comments Kai Hoyer, managing director of Reclay Materials GmbH, the division of which the Slovenian operation has now become a subsidiary.
The company’s focus is on supplying industrial and commercial customers with ‘sustainable and customised’ secondary raw materials to the highest standards.
According to Reclay, an increasing number of manufacturers want to deploy purified plastics when manufacturing new products, and these must satisfy strict quality requirements and demonstrate specific characteristics.
‘Even today, renowned end users in over 17 countries put their trust in recycled materials made by Reclay,’ says Hoyer. ‘With Reclay Materials, we can fulfil the requirements of our clients for the manufacture of modern recycling plastics even better in the future.’
With a workforce of 220 based at 12 locations, the Reclay Group serves more than 3000 customers from industry, trade and commerce. Founded in 2002, Reclay generates annual sales of Euro 211 million.
