Switzerland – German melt filter and injection moulding machinery manufacturer Ettlinger has been taken over by Maag Pump & Filtration Systems of Switzerland.
With their combined expertise, innovative products and advanced technologies, Maag and Ettlinger plan to ‘leverage the polymer, compounding and recycling industry’, it is stated. ‘Ettlinger will benefit from Maag’s global network and will be able to strengthen its worldwide service and support.’
Both companies will approach the market under their existing brand names. Maag’s president Ueli Thuerig will head up the combined business.
‘Maag’s strong sales and service channel will provide us a greater penetration into new markets and will allow us to provide excellent local support to our existing customers,’ comments Ettlinger’s ceo Volker Neuber.
