Energy-from-waste technology spotlighted at Pollutec

Vecoplan is to showcase its environmental and recycling technologies at the upcoming Pollutec trade show in November, which this year has an emphasis on energy recovery.

Visitors to the event in Lyon, France, from 27 – 30 November will get a first-hand impression of the company’s expertise and extensive product line which include powerful shredders for processing a wide variety of post-consumer and post-industrial plastics, fabrics, fibres, waste wood, household waste and industrial waste.

In addition to the main focus of the circular economy, this year’s Pollutec will highlight energy-from-waste management and Vecoplan is a leading supplier of the required shredding technology and systems for conveying and storage. Vecoplan delivers facilities for storing, dosing, conveying and mechanically processing a wide variety of materials. One result is that municipal waste can be fed into biogas plants for smooth combustion.

Cement industry specialist

Vecoplan also supplies shredding systems for single-stage and two-stage processing lines for refuse-derived fuels in the cement industry. The equipment maker develops tailor-made solutions for any application.

Vecoplan develops and manufactures systems and components and sells them worldwide in the wood reprocessing and waste processing industries. It currently has around 380 employees at its locations in Germany, the USA, Great Britain and Spain.
