Tribogenics rolls out next-generation metal analyser

Global – X-ray technology expert Tribogenics has launched a powerful, next-generation Watson XRF metal analyser as a follow-up to last year’€™s unveiling of the industry’€™s first sub-US$ 10 000 handheld XRF analyser.

The new Watson analyser is claimed to require ‘only seconds’ to complete positive material identification of 423 metal alloys. According to Tribogenics, the device is ‘already generating substantial demand among quality assurance and control manufacturers, metal fabricators, machinists and recyclers throughout the world’.

The firm’s ceo Dale Fox comments: ‘The Watson XRF represents an unrivalled combination of power, performance and price that is poised to upend the mobility X-ray market.’
