Recycling Aktiv: live demos a major attraction

Germany – There is huge demand for exhibition space at the 2017 Recycling Aktiv trade show which will take place on April 27-29 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The original expo areas are almost fully booked and so the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre has decided to add extra space.

‘This strong response reaffirms the attractiveness of the fair’s time-tested concept, which prioritises practical, realistic demonstrations of the machinery and equipment,’ says the event’s organiser.

At Recycling Aktiv, exhibitors can show their machines at work in outdoor demonstration areas. At the same time, machines from various suppliers will interact in themed areas such as the ‘Mobile Scrap & Metals Yard’.

More than 200 exhibitors and over 12 000 visitors are expected to attend the dual Recycling Aktiv and TiefbauLive trade show. The outdoor area will occupy more than 63 000 square metres.

Kai Conrads, sales director at recycling equipment manufacturer Doppstadt, comments: ‘The double trade fair has always been an important event for us. Its uniqueness lies in the live demos of the machinery. This gives the fair’s visitors a good impression of how the machines function and perform.’

Recycling International will publish a preview of the Recycling Aktiv trade show in its No. 2/2017 issue. For more information, contact Recycling International’s sales manager Judith Wanjala: [email protected]
