Presona knows how to get the most out of small balers

Small equipment doesn’t necessarily come at a cost of reduced capacity, according to Presona. ‘In fact, it is quite the opposite,’ the baling expert maintains. ‘Our LP 50 EH has an average hourly throughput for cardboard of up to 10 tonnes, maximising material handling even in space-limited locations.’

Presona has updated the LP 50 EH baler: the machine is said to achieve ‘massive’ material throughputs despite having a relatively small footprint, and is suitable for handling most materials from paper and cardboard to plastic film and PET bottles.

The LP 50 EH is fed typically by a conveyor system and is available with a 22 kW or a 37 kW motor. A wide range of bespoke options is available to tailor its performance to specific requirements. Currently the smallest baler in the LP Series, the unit features an ECC tying unit which means that no support legs are required. Its size makes it ‘ideal’ for locations where space is at a premium.

Presona is keen to share its recycling technology vision with industry stakeholders, saying: ‘Want to bale 10 tonnes of cardboard an hour? We’ll show you how at IFAT!’
