Switzerland – Recycling technology specialist swissRTec is aiming to conquer the global recycling market with its so-called dynamic Kubota Vertical Shredder which can now also be used for automotive shredder residue (ASR) processing.
Headquartered at Kreuzlingen in Switzerland, swissRTec sells technology and mechanical systems, and has recently expanded its sales activities to North America. The company’s core focus is designing and building technology for the shredding, delamination and separation of valuable raw materials from waste compounds such as electronic scrap, cable, printed circuit boards, mixed scrap metal and aluminium composites.
Essential to this task is the company’s Kubota Vertical Shredder, which can process large and small domestic appliances, metal scrap and other bulky items by breaking and grinding materials down to one inch or less in size in a single pass. This vertical shredder can be used as a stand-alone unit or in combination with other processing technology. Close to 400 users are employing its powerful breakers and multiple layers of grinders to process a broad variety of waste materials, according to swissRTec.
The Kubota Vertical Shredder comes in various models, sizes and power options, and works well in combination with the swissRTec Delamination Mill, the company adds.
