For Forrec, Thailand is the land of opportunity

Asia – South East Asia is becoming increasingly important for recycling equipment producer Forrec. The Italian manufacturer has recently delivered two lines for the treatment of municipal solid waste to a customer in Thailand, with another four lines expected for 2017.

These complete systems, which include the Forrec FR5000 series multi-crusher, the largest model in the range, are to clear local landfill sites. The end product will be used as fuel for a major Thai cement company.

The multi-crusher can handle up to 80 tons of material per hour, features sieves with discs selection for separating the organic part and for calibrating the output product in less than 100 mm.

Previously, Forrec has installed a similar project in Mexico, claimed to have proven to be ‘effective and innovative’ in terms of the technology and management costs.

Meanwhile, the FR5000 was also presented by Forrec at the Pollutec trade show in Lyon, France, and got a lot of positive reviews from visitors.
