NRT sets up sorting demo centre in China

China – Building on its existing commitment to the Asian market, US-based National Recovery Technologies Inc. (NRT) has launched a 202-square-metre demonstration centre at Suzhou in China. ‘€˜We plan to be an integral part of Chinese recycling efforts for years to come,’€™ states NRT’€™s CEO Matthias Erdmannsdoerfer. ‘€˜NRT is looking to lead the industry by continuing to provide best-in-class optical sorting equipment.’€™

From NRT’€™s portfolio of automated industrial inspection systems and solutions for materials handling and process control, the demo centre has already been equipped with the MultiSort SpydIR-T/ColorPlus Combo. More equipment is soon to be added, confirms Mr Erdmannsdoerfer.

NRT’€™s recent efforts in the Chinese market have not gone unnoticed: last week, the technology specialist won the ‘€˜Excellent China Green Plastics Recycling Enterprise’€™ award, conferred by the China Scrap Plastics Association. The recognition was based mainly on the company’€™s performance in ‘€˜scrap plastics sorting equipment, technology research, development and innovation’€™.
