China – Building on its existing commitment to the Asian market, US-based National Recovery Technologies Inc. (NRT) has launched a 202-square-metre demonstration centre at Suzhou in China. ‘We plan to be an integral part of Chinese recycling efforts for years to come,’ states NRT’s CEO Matthias Erdmannsdoerfer. ‘NRT is looking to lead the industry by continuing to provide best-in-class optical sorting equipment.’
From NRT’s portfolio of automated industrial inspection systems and solutions for materials handling and process control, the demo centre has already been equipped with the MultiSort SpydIR-T/ColorPlus Combo. More equipment is soon to be added, confirms Mr Erdmannsdoerfer.
NRT’s recent efforts in the Chinese market have not gone unnoticed: last week, the technology specialist won the ‘Excellent China Green Plastics Recycling Enterprise’ award, conferred by the China Scrap Plastics Association. The recognition was based mainly on the company’s performance in ‘scrap plastics sorting equipment, technology research, development and innovation’.
