New president for Petcore Europe

Europe – Petcore Europe, the Brussels-based association representing the continent’s PET value chain, has elected Mark Kenrick from Lotte Chemical UK as its new president. He takes over from Roberto Bertaggia, ceo of Gruppo M&G, who had led Petcore Europe since it was established two years ago.

A mechanical engineer by background, Kenrick has experience in technical, operational and general management roles mainly within the polyester industry in Europe, as well as in the USA and Brazil. He also serves as treasurer of The Committee of PET Manufacturers in Europe, one of the association members of Petcore Europe.

‘I am delighted about my new role and determined that Petcore Europe continues to grow and to definitely be the voice of the European PET industry in Europe, especially in Brussels,’ Kenrick notes. Petcore Europe’s mission is to ensure ‘an economically-sound, environmentally-justified and socially-accepted PET cycle’.
