United States – Leading food and drinks brand NestlÃ© has created 100% food-grade recycled plastic packaging for its Pure Life Purified Water. The eco-conscious 700-ml polyethylene water bottle have already hit stores across North America this month.
The launch of NestlÃ©’s premium design water bottle made entirely from recycled plastic is intended to inspire a healthier and brighter future that starts with water.
A recycling awareness campaign forms part of the bottle’s launch; its production process is showcased in a video shared on NestlÃ©’s social media channels as well as on its website.
It is hoped this eco-focus will encourage consumers to recycle the bottles they keep at home.
NestlÃ© also points out that it has reduced the amount of virgin polyethelyne in its Pure Life half-litre bottles by 40% since 2005.
