Recycling target for Tetra Pak

Switzerland – Around 20% of all the cartons sold worldwide by Tetra Pak are recycled, but the Switzerland-based company has now set itself the goal of ensuring that 40% of its packages are material recycled by 2020.

Critical elements of the push to achieve this objective include increasing awareness among consumers about the recyclability of the packages, and facilitating the collection and recycling process, it states.
